Fish of Memory: a workshop exploring how art, science, and migration intertwine.

🌊 Fish of Memory · 记忆之鱼
A bilingual art workshop exploring how art, science, and migration intertwine.

📅 Sunday Nov 16 | 10 AM – 12 PM
📍 1288 15th Ave, San Francisco
🎟 $50 Suggested Donation · $20 Minimum
🧒 Ages 8–12 · English & 中文 conducted

Inspired by Between Science and Art: On Painted Natural Illustrations of Fish in China (1500–1880),
children will study historical fish paintings and create shimmering tin-foil fish reliefs — each representing memory, migration, and imagination. Together, we’ll build a blue-fabric ocean mural, connecting stories from China to San Francisco, past to present.

Taught by Xiao He (Little Moss), Yameng Lee Thorp, and Daniel Lucas (Problem Library).
